Office Space: Emotional Competency Analysis In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Course Communication 478-1: Organizational Communication By: Samson Mengesha Date: Nov. 25/ 2011 Office space, a critically acclaimed film, portrays many significant themes one faces in an organization. Although it may seem like this movie was a comically based office story, it tells a deeper story about one, Peter Giffins and his environment in the work place as he goes to work every day and really hates what he does until a hypnotist intervenes into what seems like his stressfully and miserable life. As for Milton, he sits on the right, lowest point of the management style grid. Milton is a soft spoken gentleman, who seems to get walke d over and take it most the time. By accommodating to his co-workers and management, Milton has not only embraced the fact that he is lower than others, but is even willing to accept to work without wage to be part of the organization until aShow MoreRelatedOffice Space Movie Review1168 Words   |  5 PagesThe organization shown in the movie (INITECH) was clearly a case of multicultural environment comprised several identities, nationalities and different religions.
